Day 7 and Another Mystery
Racheal, I like the newest idea for a documentary on Autism and about making the
church aware of the needs and questioning the response of the church. It needs
to be addressed. I am recognizing Autism/Spectrum more around me as time
passes.
By the way I was having trouble yesterday also trying to log in to
your blog as did Dr. Sully. It must have been weebly.com's problem. I love
mysteries too. Poirot has been my favorite for a long time. Miss Marpole is
another.
Do be careful on your travels back to us.
Love you all, Mrs. Sully

Day 6 of Packing...
This has been a great year for harvesting turnips! Remember the year we dug them
frozen in the mud and washed them in the thirty-something degree temperatures
outside? But not-too-muddy soil and many hands made lighter work today than it
has been in the past preparing the turnips for the trailer.
Also, now that there are a few ways that you can actually ingest this yummy vegetable
without grimacing, you hopefully won't begrude them to me and talk about feeding
them to the cows quite so much! ;-)
Love you Racheal!
Savannah
P.S. Thanks for the compliment--but really, you
look cute as a button in that old hat!
MY RESPONSE: I remember that! I had on two pairs of socks and still had to come in every few minutes and warm my toes! And no, I won't talk about feeding them to the
cows so much--but once they start to go, I'm feeding them to Socks (piggy cow)!!

Day 4 of Packing...
History is always enjoyable particularly when there are pictures to go with it.
It is a delight to see a young lady take interest in preserving the stories and
photos of those that went before them. You honor them by remembering them
and telling others about them.
~~Your not so silent friend
Wow-ee! That's a good looking couple! I think you look a little like your
grandma. :) Miss you my beautiful friend!!

Prep Work
Does all this packing and getting ready to move mean that you will be heading
south before Thanksgiving?
~~Mr. Bill
MY RESPONSE: If everything goes as planned....

Saturday: Workday
Don't forget--my pawpaw was air-force and I'm quite proud of it! :) ...I hope
the flyboys won! "Off we go, into the wild blue yonder...!" Oh well, I still
love my army-brat friend! :)
~~Missy
MY RESONSE: I asked Grandpa who won and he couldn't remember for sure, but he thought the Air Force did...

Magic...
We were wondering about the chicken plucker idea and what happened about it with
the first batch of chickens that were butchered. Mr Bill asked me if you used
it the first time around and I said it wasn't mentioned. Then he saw you
plucking and the resultant pile of feathers on the floor. This is cool that it
worked so well. Your daddy is quite the fellow. All you have to do is give him
an idea and he can make it. Bravo to you all. Are you canning the chicken
meat??
~~Mrs. S
MY RESPONSE: Yes, ma'am, we are canning the meat. In fact, it's still in the Conservo right now :)
