Season Finale September 30, 2011
Brrr....I just came in from outside. The wind is blowing fiercely and more rain clouds are moving in. I love the windy chill of fall! (So long as I keep the cold air out of my ears...if my ears get cold I turn into a grouch--because they hurt.)
Tomorrow is our last Farmer's Markets in both Greentown and New Santa Fe...Kokomo goes for another couple of weeks. I made some sweet potato pies for market (unfortunately, due to being on the GAPS diet, I can't eat the left-overs! I honestly believe though that the GAPS diet is worth it and it's not like I will never be able to eat sweet potatoes again.) After doing that, I did my usual round of pre-loading sorting. This includes making sure everybody has enough change, sorting aprons (I like to switch them up sometimes), arranging doll dresses (and making sure any new ones are inventoried and added to the racks), and bundling veggies (today's vegatables are beets, carrots, radishes, and turnips). Mama takes care of the stuff like peppers and tomatoes--I get the stand on your head work :) I then load the non-food items into the vehicles. The food, vegetables and baked goods, get packed in the morning.
After putting eye drops in Grandpa's eyes, as I was leaving the 'apartment', Grandma told me to be warm tomorrow (the high is supposed to be 54 degrees!) I assured her I would would wear a sweater under my jacket, gloves and 'tie my ears down'. I have to find out if my thick knitted socks will go in my boots....
Even though I enjoy the Farmer's Markets, I am looking forward to the end of the season. There just gets to be a point where it's time to stop, if that makes any sense. Heh, I could start doing school on Fridays again! (Probably could have done some today, but I didn't.)

New Beginnings September 29, 2011
Hello, all! I have changed blog sites...obviously. I hope everyone likes this new layout. I think this pretty neat myself. Hopefully, it won't take me too long to figure it all out. Somehow I doubt that there is any 'Comment' section, like on blogger, so if you want to comment, you'll have to contact me...so, I will make a 'Contact' page...
I think I will also add a 'Link' page...and an 'About Me' page...and an 'Archives' page (not so sure how THAT is going to work...)
I am not going to transfer my posts from my blogger account here...so I will start the 'archiving' when I have some stuff to archive. *smile*
